In various places in Den Helder there will be<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>signs encouraging drinking water. The first sign will be placed on Monday, June 10 at<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Unveiled at 3:00 PM by Children&#039;s Mayor Dien and Children&#039;s Council Member Kenishan. This will take place on<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Torplaan at the bus stop &#039;GP Blankmanstraat&#039;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The campaign initiative came from JOGG director Jessica Glasbergen, who is committed to empowering young people<br \/>\nto make Den Helder healthier. Promoting water consumption is an important part of this<br \/>\nby.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign is being conducted in close collaboration with the children&#039;s council. The children&#039;s mayor and the children&#039;s council<br \/>\nDen Helder makes the voice of youth heard. At the initiative of the children&#039;s council, the municipality<br \/>\nrecently approved a proposal to install five water points at playgrounds within the municipality of Den<br \/>\nClearly placed.<\/p>\n<p>The idea behind these water points is simple but powerful: children should always have the opportunity to<br \/>\nto quench their thirst while playing, without having to go home to get water. Like<br \/>\nChildren&#039;s council member Kenishan noted: \u201cSometimes you&#039;re having fun playing and then you have to go home when you<br \/>\nare thirsty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A great step towards lasting impact<\/strong><br \/>\nThe children&#039;s council&#039;s initiative to install more water points inspired JOGG director Jessica<br \/>\nGlasbergen to set up the &#039;Stay cool, drink water&#039; campaign together with the children&#039;s council.<br \/>\nAfter the unveiling of the first board, Team Sportservice will organize a sports activity for<br \/>\nprimary school pupils.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the Healthy Youth Week, from June 10 to June 16, the &#039;Stay<br \/>\ncool, drink water&#039; place.
