In addition to subsidies for conversion, subsidies are now also available for research and the purchase of a vehicle or vessel. With this subsidy, the Regio Deal Maritiem cluster Kop van Noord-Holland encourages companies in the shipping and agricultural sectors to make greater use of hydrogen. Applications for the subsidy can be submitted until September 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Why hydrogen?<\/p>\n<p>Hydrogen is a sustainable and rich energy source that can help combat greenhouse gas emissions and current climate change. This enables us to make the transition to a cleaner and sustainable hydrogen economy.<\/p>\n<p>When to apply?<\/p>\n<p>From 1 September 2024 to 1 September 2025, entrepreneurs can apply for the hydrogen subsidy via www.denhelder.nl\/waterstofsubsidie. Information about the scheme and the conditions can also be found there.<\/p>\n<p>How much subsidy can an entrepreneur apply for?<\/p>\n<p>A subsidy amounts to a maximum of 75% for research (up to 3,000 euros) and 30% of the total conversion\/purchase costs, with a maximum of \u20ac50,000.<\/p>\n<p>A total of \u20ac345,000 is available.<\/p>\n<p>Hydrogen subsidy made possible thanks to the Regional Deal The hydrogen subsidy is made possible thanks to the Regional Deal Maritime Cluster Kop van Noord-Holland. Through the Regional Deal, the national government, the province, regional municipalities, and other (public and private) partners are working on a future-proof region. Together, they are investing in new ideas in the field of hydrogen and technology.
