This program combines<br \/>\nnature conservation, strengthening tourism and broad prosperity in the region.<br \/>\nMarketing organisation Visit Wadden implements the programme.<br \/>\nCouncillor for Tourism Fotigui Camara signed the agreement on behalf of the Kopgemeenten<br \/>\ncooperation agreement and emphasizes the importance of this cooperation: \u201cThe<br \/>\nThe Wadden Sea area is unique and vulnerable. By joining forces, we not only ensure<br \/>\npreserving this beautiful area, but we also strengthen its tourist and economic position<br \/>\nof the region in a sustainable way.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">Alderman Robert Leever of Hollands Kroon confirmed this: &#039;The Wadden are UNESCO<br \/>\nWorld Heritage. We should not only cherish it, but also be proud of it. With this program<br \/>\nWe bring this special nature even more to the attention of visitors.<br \/>\nThe programme is in line with existing initiatives, such as the Fisheries Development Plan and the<br \/>\nregional cooperation agenda Samen op Kop. Thanks to the expertise of Visit Wadden and local<br \/>\nnew opportunities are being used from the Kop van Noord-Holland to make the region more attractive<br \/>\nfor visitors, while protecting the Wadden Sea ecosystem. In 2025,<br \/>\nCity Marketing Den Helder serves as a home base for the Visit Wadden team.<br \/>\nThe program strengthens cooperation within the Kop van Noord-Holland and offers a solid<br \/>\nbasis for future regional initiatives. With this contribution, the Kop van Noord-<br \/>\nHolland in a sustainable future for nature, tourism and the economy.
