The motor lifeboat 'Dorus Rijkers' is moored in the museum harbor of Willemsoord. Built in 1923 and named after the Netherlands' most famous lifesaver, the foundation, with a small team of volunteers, is working to preserve and restore this historic vessel.<\/p>\n

Along with the 'De Zeemanspot' and 'Javazee', this ship tells the story of rescue work at sea.
