Not only for the past, but also for what that past still demands of us today. The Netherlands is free<br \/>and we never have to be afraid again.<\/p><p>History is not a line<br \/>and we are not angry enough.<\/p><p>The past circles. Turns around its axis,<br \/>What once was will always be somewhere.<br \/>It does not disappear with the passing of time<br \/>of time, it circles wider and wider<br \/>to eventually return.<\/p><p>But we don&#039;t learn<br \/>and we are not angry enough.<\/p><p>In the past, it raged like a wild man through cities.<br \/>which differ little from these<br \/>and the world is watching, but does not intervene.<br \/>And if the people then become adrift,<br \/>flees, asks for help,<br \/>a crowd is standing ready here<br \/>with a flag and a song that says no.<\/p><p>The connection is not made.<br \/>We are not angry enough<\/p><p>about the double standards, same story,<br \/>the repetition of moves, the lack of resistance<br \/>against pointing the finger at the Other<br \/>as the blame for everything that goes wrong.<br \/>And we let it happen, because the Netherlands is free.<br \/>and we never have to be afraid again.<\/p><p>We are not angry enough.<\/p><p>And it takes courage to be angry,<br \/>a bark full of love and unwavering hope<br \/>to straighten the course of things.
