Fort Kijkduin, the National Rescue Museum, and the Naval Museum are open this evening, each offering its own spectacular activities.
Lantern Tour in the Dark at Fort Kijkduin
The lights in the fort are out. Armed with a small lantern, visitors explore the dark vaults of the fort. The reenactment group Ouderwetz presents the thrilling storyline “Where is the Emperor's Dagger?”. Hidden throughout the fort, they perform short theatrical scenes. Enthusiastic guides will also share the history of Fort Kijkduin from the last two centuries. After the tour, visitors can enjoy a drink in the upstairs hall with acoustic musical accompaniment. Before or after the tour, visitors can also explore the aquarium. Every half hour between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM, a guide departs with a maximum number of participants, suitable for all ages.
Reservations are required (full=full!) via email at info@fortkijkduin.nl or by phone at 0223-612366. Tickets at €5 per person can be paid for at the Museum Night ticket counter. The fort is open between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
