Julianadorp is a place where you'll instantly feel at home. It's nestled between expansive flower fields and the North Sea beach, in an area where everything is just a little bit quieter. A village where you wake up to the sound of the sea, cycle without the hustle and bustle, and enjoy a sunset on the beach in the evening. Whether you're here for a weekend or a whole week, you can truly escape from it all.
Julianadorp has a beach you can visit every day. For children, it's one big sandbox with a sea view. For you, it's a place to relax with your feet in the sand. The beach is wide, clean, and easily accessible, even on summer days.
Stroll along the surf, read a book in the sun or take a refreshing dip.
In between, stop by a beach pavilion for coffee, lunch, or ice cream. And when the day is almost over, stay a while. The sunset here is so beautiful that you'll automatically fall silent.
Every year, from late March to mid-May, the landscape around Julianadorp is bathed in vibrant colors. Julianadorp marks the beginning of the world's largest contiguous flower bulb growing region. The bulb fields are impressively beautiful and attract visitors from all over the world.
Specially designed cycling and hiking trails lead you through this colorful festival. Or see it from the water: paddle through the fields in a canoe or SUP.
The local growers are happy to talk about their work, and you can often buy flowers or regional products directly.
