Free event for young people!
On Sunday 4 February, the unique location De Kampanje will be transformed into one large urban playground with ample space for everything that moves the new generation. From spectacular urban sports competitions on a temporary skate track to street culture performances and surprising performances in theater De Kampanje. The organization expects active participants with toppers in various disciplines, visitors and passers-by. Does that make you curious? Last year a great success!
What is it?
The Urban Culture Festival is a festival that can be visited free of charge and offers a unique stage for both starting and established talents and initiatives in various street culture disciplines. Anyone can join and participate at their own level. The program will be announced later this year. The performance 'Rhythm & Flow' by ISH Dance Collective can also be seen (for a fee). In between, visitors can chill out on the food square and enjoy a varied range of street food & drinks.
For who is it?
For young people from 10 years old and their parents/family/friends who love football, dancing, free running, bmxing, stepping, graffiti street art and much more.
Organization
The festival is organized by Theater de Kampanje, Team Sportservice Noordkop, Rik Niks House of Dance, MEE & De Wering, Triade House for the Arts; a joining of forces of the local organizations from Den Helder.
What does it cost?
The festival and the workshops are free! You can only buy a ticket there for €17.75 if you want to visit the ISH performance. The festival is open on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
