The choir is founded in 2002 by Joke Limonard and Elly Rietkerk, both members MSV Zeemacht is part of. The choir members are a bit older in general, think of 50+, but their are some younger members .The repetoire changed changed from 'smartlap' to more popular songs in Dutch and English.
