Den Helder Airport is one of the largest helicopter airports in North-West Europe. It is unique in the Netherlands as it specializes in air transport for the offshore energy industry.

This is possible thanks to the ideal location in relation to the primary oil and gas fields as well as the (future) offshore wind farms. The good accessibility, excellent parking facilities near the terminal, low parking rates and short waiting times make Den Helder Airport very attractive.

There are, however, more facilities, and we are working on continuous improvement and creating an optimal business climate for aviation and offshore-related companies.
In addition, we offer hangar space, meeting facilities, options for airplane rental, sightseeing flights and flights to other European offshore cities.

Our door is also open for other interested parties. In the restaurant you can take in the grand view of the platform while enjoying a cup of coffee or a delicious meal.

Opening hours
Den Helder Airport is open on weekdays from 7 am to 10 pm and on weekends and on national and Christian holidays from 7 am to 11 am and from 2 pm to 8 pm.
