Certified Blue Schools will also be involved in the Offshore Experience on September 10th at Den Helder, with a special program for students. Here's what's on the agenda:

Wind4Kids
This educational program introduces students to wind energy. They participate in interactive workshops where they learn the basic principles of wind energy and build and test their own wind turbine. This program aims to inspire the next generation to think about sustainable energy solutions.

The North Sea Game
In this game, students explore the complex world of the North Sea by taking on different roles. They learn about the diverse interests and challenges in this maritime area, such as sustainable energy, shipping, and nature conservation. The game raises awareness of the importance of the North Sea.

Navicula Star
A first this year is the presence of the research vessel 'Navicula Star' in the Museum Harbor. This recently renovated vessel will be officially christened after the day's program. Students will have the opportunity to take a short tour on board and learn about the maritime sector and innovative technologies.

This program offers students a unique opportunity to delve into maritime and sustainability themes, which fits perfectly within the Blue Schools curriculum.
