Wednesday afternoon is story time! In the libraries of School 7, Julianadorp, and Nieuw Den Helder, you and your child can snuggle up in a cozy corner and listen to a beautiful story. Reading aloud is not only fun, it also has an effect. It sparks the imagination, aids language development, and expands vocabulary.

A regular time each week to listen, laugh, and dream away together with beautiful books. Whether you come weekly or for the first time, everyone is welcome. The story is told by a reading volunteer or library staff member.

For aspiring big readers

Children who are read to improve their language skills later in life. But more importantly, they discover how much fun reading is. This way, little ones naturally become great readers.
