Helder Vastgoed BV has received the green light for the construction of 22 spacious townhouses for sale at Molenplein in Den Helder. Of these, 17 homes are situated on Weststraat with a view of Willemsoord, and 5 homes on the quiet Keizersgracht.

The architects of Geurst & Schulze architecten bv and Tony Fretton Architects have ensured ample living space in their design. For instance, the homes feature no fewer than 3 or 4 bedrooms, and one home also has a loft room that can be freely furnished. The homes on Weststraat have a garden, and the homes on Keizersgracht have a courtyard. A parking space has been reserved for 11 homes in the covered storage area. Naturally, the homes are gas-free, equipped with solar panels and a heat pump.

The selling prices are not yet known, but you can already register as an interested party with Jongewaard Heemskerk NVM Makelaars.

Helder Vastgoed recently received the environmental permit, and the tendering process to find a suitable contractor can commence. The expected start date of construction is early 2023.

Over the coming years, Helder Vastgoed BV will build more than 400 (social) rental and owner-occupied homes in the Municipality of Den Helder to address the housing shortage. In the city centre, alongside the 22 owner-occupied homes, there will also be 12 new social rental homes on Spuistraat and 4 social rental homes on Koningdwarsstraat. Additionally, construction will start this year on 36 rental apartments near Halte Bellevue, 7 Palmhout owner-occupied homes on Spoorstraat, and 4 owner-occupied homes at the former Biegstraten site on Koningstraat. Construction of 36 rental homes in Het Warenhuys will follow later. Work is also underway on new housing supply outside the centre with projects such as Molenwerf (34 owner-occupied and rental homes) on the Vinkenterrein and Het Kasteel with 39 rental apartments in Nieuw Den Helder.
