Internationally acclaimed musical actress Willemijn Verkaik (including Wicked, Frozen) is back in the Netherlands – this time as Diana in the multi-award-winning Broadway hit Next to Normal. Diana lives with bipolar disorder, causing the line between imagination and reality to blur within her family. Husband Dan (Edwin Jonker) saves what can be saved; son Gabe is all over the place; daughter Natalie takes refuge in pills and perfectionism. As a viewer, you are swept into the life of a family that seems 'normal' on paper, but fights for stability behind closed doors.

The musical initiative for a swinging afternoon for anyone in the mood to enjoy nostalgic music was a huge success last season. 4 editions sold out, nothing but happy visitors, some of whom had a wonderful time dancing. This season, too, you can enjoy this celebration of familiar tunes four times. Nothing is mandatory, everything is allowed! Everyone is welcome.
