Start in Julianadorp and cycle to the dunes
You start at junction 18 in Julianadorp. After just three kilometers, via junctions 22 and 08, you'll reach the dunes. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and expansive views. Park your bike and take your time on the beach. The fresh sea air and the sea views make this a moment to truly unwind.
Through the dunes to Mariëndal
After your visit to the beach, cycle further through the hilly dune landscape towards junction 05, where the Mariëndal recreation area begins. You can access this diverse nature reserve at the De Helderse Vallei visitor center. Although certain areas, such as the bird meadow, are closed, you can get a good view of the area from the viewpoint, which is still developing for nature and recreation.
Back to Julianadorp and additional activities
The return route takes you via junctions 02, 99, and 22 back to 18 in Julianadorp. Still have energy left? Julianadorp offers plenty of additional activities.
