A sea of colours in every season
Behind the wide sandy ridges and between the dunes, green meadows and bulb fields alternate. In spring, the fields turn bright red, bright yellow, soft orange, clear white, and sweet pink. At the end of March, the first crocuses herald the arrival of spring, followed by tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. In late summer, gladioli, dahlias, carnations, and asters create a second, breathtaking sea of flowers.
