Dunselman Bakery has once again delivered an impressive performance during the National Bakery Competitions. With no less than six prizes The bakery once again proves its craftsmanship and love for the craft.

“"After our victory for the best speculaas with almonds in the Netherlands, this is another wonderful recognition of our hard work," says Barry Dunselman proudly. "And to go home with so many awards again feels very special. We are especially proud of the filled speculaas; it shows that our speculaas recipes are really popular and that our traditional recipes still have an edge!”
The jury was impressed with Dunselman's products. The speculaas, in particular, was praised for its crunchy texture and rich flavor. "A beautiful product!" was the comment during the awards ceremony. Barry explains that the team had already been hard at work in September to further perfect the products. And that hard work has clearly paid off.

Proud of young talent

It wasn't just Dunselman's experienced bakers who won prizes. Alongside the established favorites, Dunselman also recognized their young talent. Stijn in the spotlight. He achieved the 2nd prize with his braided buns and with his butter cookies. “We are extremely proud that we can offer space within our company for young bakers to develop and showcase their talent,” says Barry.
