On Saturday, March 28th, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, delve into the world of urban nature. Despite investments, biodiversity is under pressure. How is that possible? And more importantly: what can you do about it?
Get insights from a naturalist
Peter Bulsing takes you on a journey through his story. He's a naturalist, publicist, and photographer. He's also the author of the books "Public Green" and "Towards a Nature-Rich Garden." He believes you can turn the tide. By focusing on the life cycles of insects and small invertebrates in landscaping and management, you create space for more birds and butterflies.
Think about a nature-rich city
You'll gain practical insights and new ideas. What does this mean for parks, gardens, and public spaces? How do you make choices that truly make a difference? This lecture will get you thinking about the city of tomorrow.
Come listen in the Helderse Valley
The lecture is organized by the KNNV Alkmaar Den Helder branch. Everyone aged 15 and over is welcome. Admission is free, but a voluntary contribution is welcome. Registration is not required. Just drop in and be inspired at De Helderse Vallei.
