The spring exhibition "Paint, Paint, Paint" is entirely about the material. Paint is central. It's not just the subject that matters; the way paint is applied to the canvas also plays a key role. Visual artist Sjaak Kooij selected eighteen painters from his network for this exhibition.

Every artist works differently with paint. Sometimes thin and subdued. Sometimes thick and impasto. With broad strokes or a fine brush. All works are figurative. Yet, there remains much to discover and interpret.

The opening takes place on Sunday, March 15th at 3:00 PM. You are welcome from 2:30 PM. City poet Yanaika Zomer will open the exhibition in her own way. You can also join a guided tour by curator Sjaak Kooij. This starts on Saturday, April 18th at 3:00 PM and is free. Prefer to get creative yourself? Then take the egg tempera workshop with artist Peter de Boer. It takes place on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 PM and costs €10.
Plan your visit this spring
The exhibition runs from March 15th to April 26th. Visit Kunsthal 45 from Thursday to Sunday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Admission to the exhibition is free. On the final weekend, April 25th and 26th, you'll also find a book market with affordable books. Perfect for at home or for your next vacation.
