On Tuesday, June 2nd, Scholen aan Zee in Den Helder will transform into a vibrant discovery center for young researchers. During the Technology Promotion Event (PET), primary school students from the region will get hands-on with technology and science. They will build, program, measure, experiment, and discover all that technology can offer.
Do, experience and discover
In drie rondes van 1,5 uur (ronde 1: 09.00 – 10.30 uur, ronde 2: 10.45 – 12.15 uur, ronde 3: 12.45 – 14.15 uur ) volgen kinderen workshops die techniek tastbaar maken. Van robots bouwen tot metingen doen: elke activiteit is ontworpen om nieuwsgierigheid te prikkelen. De workshops zijn actief, afwisselend en afgestemd op leerlingen uit groep 7.
For schools and (grand)parents
Participating schools from Den Helder, Schagen, and Hollands Kroon can register from March 2nd to April 17th. Teachers and (grand)parents are also welcome. The PET Event is not only educational but also fun to experience together.
