Every Friday afternoon, you'll get to work at De Jongeren Scheepswerf (Young Shipyard). You'll learn, create, and explore by the water, together with other young people in the Medemblikkerloods at Willemsoord.
Learning by doing
You'll work in blocks of seven or eight sessions. Each block has its own theme, such as sailing, boat maintenance, or navigation. You'll roll up your sleeves and see immediate results.
Guidance with experience
Carpenter Jan Glazema and youth worker Jochum Mollema will be providing guidance every afternoon. They'll guide you step-by-step through the process. There's also time to ask questions and try things out.
Choose your theme
There are costs associated with De Jongeren Scheepswerf. You register for each theme block via the website, so you can participate in whatever interests you most. Space is limited, so don't wait too long.
