Diving club De Aquanauten has been the place to be for underwater sports in Den Helder for many years. The club has over 60 members, making it the largest and oldest diving club in the municipality.
Diving for all levels
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced swimmer, De Aquanauten offers training, courses, and fitness swimming at Het Heersdiep swimming pool. Theory lessons are also well-organized, with dedicated space on the pool grounds.
Unique combination: also underwater hockey
Besides diving, the club also offers underwater hockey. Training takes place every Wednesday evening, followed by a friendly get-together in the Atlantis classroom. Sports and socializing go hand in hand here.
Diving in the tower and beyond
