Fancy a run through nature? Then choose the Vallei Trailrun. On September 19th, you'll discover Mariendal, Donkereduinen, the Helderse dunes, the beach, and a stretch of dike. No time limits, no pressure. Just run and enjoy. The start is at the open-air theater of the Helderse Vallei.
Choose your distance
Choose 8.5, 17, 22, or 28 kilometers. The 28 km is new, especially for the fifth edition of this popular event. Prefer a shorter run? Kids can also participate with a 1.6 km trail run. The Vallei Trailrun is for everyone who wants to exercise in nature, regardless of experience or pace.
Trail running at its purest
The entire course is on unpaved paths. No timekeeping, no chips, or starting grids. You run at your own pace. Over sand, through woods, along the water. With plenty of space along the way to pause and look around. Or, as one participant said: "It's so beautiful here!"“
