On May 14, Ascension Day, the grounds open at 12:00 PM. Until 6:00 PM, enjoy performances, acts, and activities for young and old. Let yourself be surprised and step into a world full of creativity and fun.
Discover music on two stages
Stroll through the fort and hear live music on two acoustic stages. Listen to MISTER & MRS, Will Knox, Lenny & de Wespen, and La Nique. Each performance lasts half an hour, so you can easily catch multiple shows. Stay between performances to enjoy the atmosphere. Or grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the DJ sets.
Let yourself be surprised by theater
Unique acts pop up all over the grounds. Hop aboard at CamperConcerts and experience a musical cabaret show on wheels. Watch the Soap Stunters prepare their spectacular stunt. Or laugh along with the Bad Mobiel, which provides unexpected moments. Grab a poem from the literary snack bar and take something unique home.
Come look, play, and discover
There is plenty for children to do. They can do free arts and crafts with artist Geertje Tjalma, or watch the puppet show of Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. You can also discover Mechatropolis, an interactive installation full of play and technology. At 12:30 PM, students from Rik Niks will give a performance you won't want to miss.
Enjoy a full day together
Grab a drink and a treat from Fort Westoever and the Helderse Jongens. Hang around, meet others, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The festival is free to attend, so come by and experience it for yourself.
