Biography
Rayen Panday (Zaandam, 1983) participated in an open mic for stand-up comedy in 2008, while still studying law. In the same year, he won the Personality Prize in the final of the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival. From 2011 to 2013, he performed his first full-length cabaret show, *Drie keer Rayen*. Several shows followed, such as *Vrijspraak*, *Niet Verder Vertellen* (both broadcast on NPO 3), and *Fenomeen*. The latter made him known to the general public. Rayen has been part of Comedytrain for years and has hosted a weekly podcast from Toomler with comedian Stefan Pop since 2020. Rayen is a welcome guest on various TV programs. He has appeared in *The Roast*, *Weet ik veel*, *Ik Hou van Holland*, *LOL* (Last One Laughing), *Dit was het Nieuws*, and *Ranking the Stars*. Rayen was also one of the comedians on *Lubach's Avondshow Stand-ups*. Rayen will be touring the country with his seventh show, Karma, until mid-April 2025. The try-outs for his new show Grip start in November.
