The most popular market is undoubtedly the Helderse Juttersmarkt (Beach Compost Market). This market runs every Tuesday for an impressive 11 weeks. Stalls are set up on Beatrixstraat and in front of several shops, and there's a flea market for all ages in the Stadspark. This Juttersmarkt attracts many tourists to Den Helder. Every Tuesday isn't just filled with street vendors.

On Thursday, October 31st, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the city center transforms into a spooky paradise! Witches, monsters, and ghosts fill the shopping streets, accompanied by ominous music.
Participate in the Trick or Treat game! Get your entry card at the stall next to Intertoys and turn in a full card for a fun surprise. Face painting is available at Avanti Food Station from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
