National Outdoor Play Day photo contest

Wednesday, June 12th is National Outdoor Play Day. The Den Helder children's council is organizing a photo contest for this occasion, with children in the running to win great prizes. The children's council believes it's important and fun for more outdoor play to take place. Therefore, the children's council is encouraging all Den Helder children to play outside on June 12th. If the children take a fun photo of themselves playing outside that day, they'll have a chance to win a great outdoor play package.

Photos can be emailed to [email protected] by Monday, June 17th. More information about this photo contest can be found at www.denhelder.nl/kinderburgemeester. National Outdoor Play Day is organized annually by Jantje Beton and children's channel Nickelodeon for over 10 years now. On this day, Jantje Beton and Nickelodeon strive to make the Netherlands one big playground, so that 100,000 children can play carefree. The children's council supports this campaign by organizing a photo contest for the Helderse children.
