The book about De Schooten will be presented on Saturday, December 20th, starting at 1:00 PM at Bonte bookstore in the Schooten Plaza shopping center. The first copy will be presented to Mrs. Weerensteijn, the first resident of what is now De Schooten.

Author Marinus Vermooten has now turned 27ste book. Besides books about Den Helder, the author has compiled a series of reference works on Dutch railway stations, for which he has achieved national recognition (television, radio, and newspapers), Dutch-language music, and two books on municipal councils. Evert Tolhuijs (editor), Ilse Kootkar (layout), and Henk Post (current photos) contributed to his latest book.

The book is available for €24.95 at the Bruna Bonte stores in De Schooten and Julianadorp. After the reception, the book will be signed on Saturday between 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
