Scholen aan Zee and Topsport Den Helder want to join forces to create a supportive environment for talented young athletes. Education and elite sports reinforce each other in this process. On Monday, November 12th at 2:00 PM, Hielke ter Veld, General Director of Scholen aan Zee, and Raymond Koen of Topsport Den Helder will sign the agreement, which focuses on the development and support of talented young athletes in Den Helder. The agreement will be signed at Sport aan Zee, the gymnasium near the Lyceum aan Zee location.

A shared vision on talent development
The agreement underscores both parties' shared vision of offering talented young athletes the opportunity to realize their ambitions without compromising their education. This collaboration gives students the opportunity to develop optimally, both athletically and personally.
As part of this agreement, both parties regularly exchange information, and Topsport Den Helder offers workshops and guidance to students who want to further develop their talents. Scholen aan Zee is committed to providing the necessary facilities and time so that athletic ambitions can be realized alongside academic achievement.

A sustainable collaboration
The agreement is evaluated annually to ensure its progress and effectiveness. Scholen aan Zee and Topsport Den Helder are jointly committed to providing young sports talent with the space they need to grow and develop.
