In the 2025/2026 theater season, all performances of 'Ik weet het eigenlijk niet' were completely sold out, including at Den Helder! Partly for that reason, and mainly because he is looking forward to it, Fred is back in the 2026/2027 season with his theater show 'Ik weet het eigenlijk niet'.

Fred begins his theater show by stating that he doesn't know. But actually, he does know; in fact, he knows it all with crystal clarity. For instance, he knows exactly what his ideal man needs to be like. As he puts it himself: you have to set the bar high and not sell yourself out. In his search for this ideal man, he takes the audience along on his journey, through his thoughts and anecdotes. After this evening, you will never order a pizza normally again, you will look at your shower drain differently, and you will sign up for a harmonica course.

Fred van Leer has over 1.7 million followers on social media and appears on TV with the programs Say Yes to the Dress on TLC and Make Up Your Mind on RTL. Additionally, he has six sold-out 'Fred and Friends' shows at AHOY to his name. On September 2, 2025, his book Niets is wat het lijkt – depressie in de spotlight was published, which has become a bestseller.
