On Sunday, September 13, you can see historic vehicles up close during the Historic Classic Car Tour at Willemsoord. Classic cars gather at this maritime site in Den Helder. You will feast your eyes as gleaming chrome and nostalgic lines pass by. A day for lovers of technology and history.
Step back in time
Each of the vintage cars tells its own story. You'll discover models from different decades and see how mobility has evolved. That makes this tour more than just a parade. It's rolling heritage in motion.
Atmosphere at Willemsoord
The historic setting of Willemsoord is a perfect fit for this tour. The vehicles truly shine among the monumental buildings and nautical backdrop. Stroll past the cars, take photos, and chat with proud owners. This way, you'll experience the event up close.
Follow the route through Den Helder
Between 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM, the procession drives along the dike. You will see the vehicles along the Zeepromenade and Fort Kijkduin, among other places. After Fort Kijkduin, the procession continues through the city center. Around 1:30 PM, the vehicles arrive at Willemsoord. You can view them there during the show until 3:30 PM.
