Iris Rulkens – Van Harte!

We know Marjolijn from her previous, sold-out shows about panic, worrying, and pills. Her honest, deadpan cabaret full of self-mockery is a genre in itself and draws full houses throughout the Netherlands. In this show, she wonders why we only appreciate life when someone is dead. Or sick. Couldn't that happen a little sooner? Do people have to die before we feel alive? Black humor, sensitive songs, and shameless stories; that is Van Kooten through and through. It certainly won't be her fault if she doesn't.

Nominated for the VSCD Cabaret Prize | Poelifinario engagement: "Her attractive and entirely personal style contains an irresistible combination of pure candor and delightfully nonsensical craziness." Lisa Ostermann has money for the first time in her life. And a cabaret prize in her pocket. And a private life without recent disasters. Lisa is in charge of her life. So perhaps now it is time to become the boss of something or someone else. Expect new sharp jokes, bittersweet songs, and unexpected twists. But more expensive.
