Walk through the illuminated streets of Willemsoord and the city during the Lichtjesloop (Light Walk).

On October 23rd, Den Helder will light up. You'll start at Willemsoord and then head into the city. In the dark, you'll follow a route filled with light and movement. This way, you'll experience Den Helder in a unique way.

From maritime terrain to city streets

The start and finish are in Willemsoord. From there, you'll run through illuminated parts of the city. Historic buildings and streets form the backdrop. The contrast between dark and light makes every kilometer special.

Together through the light

You'll walk through the evening with other participants, creating energy and a sense of community. Along the route, you'll experience the city's atmosphere.

Experience Den Helder in the evening

This run will give you a different perspective on Willemsoord and the city center. Enjoy a fun and lively evening together.
