During the Jutterhavendagen, the Maritime Cluster will be present with a stand and a scale model. There, you will discover what the Maritime Cluster entails and why it is important for Den Helder.

What is the Maritime Cluster?

Den Helder has many activities connected to the sea. These include shipping, the navy, shipbuilding, offshore energy, ports, and maritime services. Together, these sectors form the Maritime Cluster.

Future of the port

At the stand, you will receive more information about developments affecting the Maritime Cluster. These include climate change, rising sea levels, and offshore wind. It also covers the future of the port and the role of the Royal Netherlands Navy in Den Helder.

View the scale model

The scale model shows how maritime developments converge in Den Helder. This provides a better picture of the port, the city, and the opportunities for the future. You can find more information on the Maritime Cluster website.
