Choose your instrument
The workshop begins with an introduction to the instruments. You learn how to hold and play them. After that, you choose for yourself what you want to work with.
Play together as an ensemble
You start with simple rhythms. You build them step by step into more varied patterns. Halfway through, Michael divides the group into parts. Everyone gets their own rhythm. Together, it suddenly sounds like an African ensemble.
Conclude with a performance
At the end, you will play a short performance with the group. Just for each other, but with something to be proud of. Join in and experience how quickly rhythm brings people together.
