Experience art and heritage at the Beeldenfort
During Open Monument Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026, you can visit the Beeldenfort on the Liniepad between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM. This is a rare opportunity, as this art fort is normally closed to the public.
Where art and history meet
The Beeldenfort is a unique combination of sculptures by Maria Glandorf and an old brick-concrete bunker. The sculptures stand in a public space, but here they are surrounded by silence and concrete. That makes the experience extra special.
Sculptures and structure
Sculptures and structures transcend trends and fashions, move through time as a silent force, and allow themselves to be experienced every now and then.
