Walk along the training grounds of future naval officers.

Have you always wanted to know how future naval officers are trained? During this exclusive tour of the grounds of the Royal Netherlands Naval Institute (KIM) you get a unique insight into the life of a midshipman.

This is where leadership at sea grows

The guide will take you on a tour of the historic and active training complex on the Nieuwe Diep. You'll hear how young students are prepared for a position as a naval officer. From tradition to technology: everything is covered.

A look behind closed gates

The KIM is normally closed to the public. This tour is therefore special—and only available upon request. You can choose from two starting times: 10:30 AM or 1:30 PM. The tour lasts an hour and a half. Please note: identification is required.

Book on time

You can reserve a spot through the Information Center at Willemsoord 52A. The cost is €6 per person. Don't wait too long: spots are limited.
