Discover Irish music and worldly sounds in Huisduinen. Three professional musicians join musical forces. They perform on Friday evening, September 4, 2026. The Huisduiner Kerkje provides the setting for this evening.

Journey through various musical styles

The program ranges from almost classical to traditional dance music. Listen to compositions by O'Carolan, jigs, and reels. Contemporary Irish music is also featured. In addition, you will hear sounds from Curaçao, Brazil, and Northern Spain.

Meet three experienced musicians

Jing Zhou plays the accordion. She studied in Shanghai and won several prizes. Loes Bakker plays flutes, whistles, and Flemish bagpipes. Auke Hofstra provides guitars and vocals.

Let yourself be surprised by new sounds

The musicians also play their own compositions. Jing performs an accordion arrangement of Chinese film music. Loes and Auke share their love for Irish folk music. This creates a varied program with different musical stories.
