Event in 2027? Then apply for an event subsidy.

Are you organizing an event in Den Helder, Julianadorp, or Huisduinen in 2027? Then you may be eligible for an event subsidy through the municipality of Den Helder. You can apply for this subsidy from September 1 to September 30, 2026.

The municipality of Den Helder is happy to support events that are attractive, engaging, and interesting to our residents and put our municipality positively on the map. Therefore, they make funds available each year for event subsidies.

Terms and Conditions

To receive a subsidy, an event must meet certain conditions. For example, the event must:

  • primarily intended for our residents or a specific target group;
  • have a local, regional or supra-regional appeal;
  • contribute to a visit to our municipality;
  • to have no profit motive.

 

Only associations and foundations with legal personality and without a profit motive can submit a subsidy application.

Deadline September 30, 2026

Do you want to be eligible for an event subsidy? Then submit your application. no later than September 30, 2026 in via denhelder.nl/evenementensubsidie. Every application is assessed against the applicable conditions and criteria.

Required documents

In addition to the application form, you must submit the following documents:

  • The program of the event.
  • The event budget (with or without the mandatory attachment). This must be submitted using the format on the website.
  • The promotion plan. This must be done using the format on the website.
  • A current overview of the board members.
  • If you are applying for a grant for the first time: a copy of the deed of incorporation and the articles of association.

 

Have you previously applied for a subsidy for a similar event, and have the deed of incorporation or statutes been amended since then? If so, please also include the current version of these documents.

It has become a warm and hopeful album, yet with her typical melancholy and evocative lyrics. The first single, 'Chaos Gedoofd' (Chaos Extinguished), was released recently.

Roel & Jos Maalderink – Brotherhood

Roel and Jos Maalderink, known from the satirical VPRO TV program Plakshot, made an immediate impression with their theater debut, and so the brothers are back with the successful revival of their cabaret show Verbroedering. People often find it hard to believe that Roel and Jos are brothers because they are so different from each other. After battling it out for seven seasons in Plakshot, they are now taking on each other in the theater.

Marine Band – Silver Tears

The Royal Netherlands Marine Band, together with Carel Kraayenhof (bandoneon), presents a musical tribute to a special and moving moment in recent Dutch history. On February 2, 2002, Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Máxima Zorreguieta exchanged vows, a day that many still remember vividly. Central to this program is that one unforgettable moment: the emotional performance of Adiós Nonino, during which the world witnessed the famous “royal tear.” Together with Carel Kraayenhof, the Marine Band returns to this intense memory and brings this moment back to life.

Classical lunch concert – with Filip Krzeszowiec

Cellist Filip Krzeszowiec explores the rich expressive world of the cello with music by Debussy, Schubert, and Rachmaninoff, from refined French sound to grand romantic lyricism. The Polish cellist Filip Krzeszowiec belongs to a promising new generation of young musicians. He is currently studying with Alexander Gebert at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and, since 2026, also at the École Supérieure de Musique of Jérôme Pernoo in Paris.
