In Den Helder, one in nine children grows up in poverty. This means no money for sports, school supplies, or a birthday party. The Leergeld Den Helder Foundation offers these children a chance. With the support of donors, they can participate.

Direct help, close to home

The Leergeld Foundation has been active in over 170 municipalities for 25 years. Now, it's also active in Den Helder. This year, we aim to help 50 to 100 children. No big promises, just genuine support that you'll immediately notice. Think of a laptop for school or a bicycle for sports activities.
