Looking for a quiet yet easily accessible beach? Head to Zandloper. This is the northernmost beach entrance in Julianadorp aan Zee. From there, you can walk straight onto the wide beach, where the sea is always close by.

Enjoy convenience and amenities

The beach is clean, safe, and well-maintained. You'll find a first aid station, lifeguard, and beach pavilion. Sea of Time. The beach has a Blue Flag, an international quality mark. Free parking is available at the corner of Zanddijk and Noorder Sandt. Accessible to people with disabilities, a beach wheelchair is available.

Easily accessible by bus or bicycle

In summer, take the Kustbus 151 from station Den Helder and get off at the beach entrance. Or cycle: it's only a short distance from Julianadorp. Dogs are allowed off-leash before 10:00 AM and after 7:00 PM. Horses are also welcome in the early morning or evening.

Known and loved by many

The famous pavilion once stood here Ship on the Beach. After a fire, a new pavilion was built, which has become a popular spot for lunch or drinks with a sea view. Nearby, you'll find plenty of campsites and bungalow parks.
