Small-scale campsite along the Dune Route
Are you looking for a quiet camping spot in the northernmost part of North Holland? Camping Le Maire is centrally located between Julianadorp, Den Helder, and Breezand. With approximately 25 pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, this is a lovely destination for peace seekers, cyclists, and nature lovers. The campsite is situated directly on the Duinenroute, between cycling junction 9 and 10.
Ideal base
From the campsite, you can reach the beach, the Den Helder harbor, or Hoenderdaell Zoo in a short time. Anna Paulowna and Den Oever are also easily accessible. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, and enjoying nature.
Peace and space
Camping Le Maire is situated in green surroundings with plenty of space to relax. The Floratuin of Julianadorp is nearby, and the beach can be reached in about 15 minutes by bike. In spring, the colorful bulb fields create a beautiful landscape.
Amenities
The campsite has approximately 25 pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. There is a sanitary building with showers and toilets that is currently being renovated to further improve guest comfort.
A railway line runs alongside the campsite, with trains passing a few times a day. Most guests do not find this disturbing and particularly appreciate the quiet, rural setting and the central location.
