Whitney Valk, a versatile teacher and founder of House of Dance. Whitney grew up in her parents' dance school, "Dansschool Corma." She knew early on that she wanted to pursue a dance education, and not just any dance program. In 2012, she graduated from the Lucia Marthas dance academy in Amsterdam. She is a versatile dancer, both performing and teaching. Whitney regularly performs shows both in the Netherlands and abroad. She has starred in shows like Superkids, Your Face Sounds Familiar, the Holland Show Ballet dinner shows on RTL Wentink & Volendam, and the Lee Towers "One Night Only" concert at Ahoy. After eight years of experience as a dance teacher, she decided to fulfill her ambition by founding a dance school in September 2015 under the name "House of Dance." Teaching is her greatest passion! She shares her passion with others with great joy and love. Bo van Zeventer, a versatile teacher at House of Dance, started dancing when she was four years old. She started at Dansschool Corma and quickly found herself on competitive teams with Whitney. They participated in various competitions and performances as a duo. Bo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (HBO) from the Amsterdam University of the Arts. For her internship, she danced for five months in Israel with a dance company. Afterward, she danced in several productions, including one with the Holland Opera. Now Bo and Whitney are back working together at House of Dance. Next season, Bo will teach various classes, both in Den Helder and on Texel. Bo is very much looking forward to sharing her passion and experiences with the students in the city where she also started.
