Inside, the safari tent is tastefully and fully furnished. You sleep in a spacious double bed and have your own kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove, small oven, and coffee and tea making facilities. There is also a cozy seating area inside, so you feel right at home immediately.
Outside, you can fully enjoy the outdoors. On the terrace, there is a picnic table and lounge chairs or a lounge sofa, where you can relax wonderfully with a view of the surrounding greenery. Here you can hear the birds, feel the sea air, and experience the tranquility of camping, without having to pitch a tent yourself.
The safari tents are located at Camping Helmzicht, behind an authentic North Holland farmhouse and in the middle of the largest continuous flower bulb area in the world. The beach is just a 15-minute walk away. The flower bulb nursery, small vineyard, and natural camping fields also make this place special. Occasionally, small-scale activities are organized, such as helping in the vineyard or getting creative with finds from the beach.
Guests staying in the safari tents use the sanitary facilities on the campsite. The safari tent can be booked for a minimum of three nights. During the high season, July and August, a stay of one week applies, with Friday as the changeover day. Arrival is possible from 14:00 and departure is at 11:00.
