La Mer Choir. La Mer was founded on May 12, 1981; since then, many a note has been sung and cracked. Concerts and events have been organized with great enthusiasm. Singing is fun; it makes you happy. That was the case then, and that is how it still is.
La Mer is a mixed choir with a repertoire of film, musical, and established popular music, accompanied by a super combo. All of this is under the direction of a highly skilled conductor: Arjen Busscher.
New members are always welcome, but you can also come and listen without obligation first. Rehearsals aimed at singing during performances take place at Triade Middenweg 2 in Den Helder. Feel free to drop by on Monday evenings, from 19:45 to 21:45. And… coffee or tea will be ready for you during the break.
