Art in the landscape: a new perspective on the environment

Visual art can enrich a landscape. It adds something without losing its essence. As a visitor, you see the surroundings with new eyes and are given the opportunity to reflect on them. But art also changes the landscape, however subtly. Even a simple, empty picture frame—a well-known example—influences how you experience the surroundings.
