Liander is strengthening the power grid in the municipality of Den Helder

From spring 2025, Liander will be taking over the power grid in various parts of the country in the coming years

With Liander's approach, the entire power grid in the area is being tackled at once. This means that
less inconvenience for residents. In Julianadorp Oost, new
electricity substations are being built and Liander is laying new cables. This will make the power grid more powerful.

A reliable power grid
The Netherlands is growing and changing. We are using more and more electricity and generating it ourselves.

Liander improves the power grid throughout the Netherlands.

All Den Helder's turn
Over the next fifteen years, Liander will also take over the power grid in all districts and neighborhoods in the municipality of Den
Clearly. The neighborhood where Liander will be working with the neighborhood approach over the next two years is the
east side of Julianadorp and Kruiszwin 1 to 5. This is due to the capacity and age of the
low-voltage grid. The schedule for Den Helder after 2025 is not yet known.

Liander informs residents
Liander informs residents about the plans for the entire neighborhood. During the improvement of the

sufficient power for the further sustainability of Den Helder.”
