On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Team Sportservice Noordkop transformed Residential Care Park Noorderhaven into a sports paradise where around 25 people with disabilities could move freely. During the G-nial Sports Day, participants tried out various sports offered by various local sports clubs for free. The goal? To find the sport that best suits the participants.

In collaboration with 's Heeren Loo, JVC Football Club, and SV Sportlust, Team Sportservice Noordkop organized a day full of sporting challenges for participants of all ages and levels. Thanks to the presence of the various clubs, there was a diverse range of activities. From football to gymnastics, there was plenty to try. This gave participants a great opportunity to explore different sports and enjoy being active.

‘"Our ambition is not only to offer participants a sporting experience, but also to support them in finding a sport they enjoy," says Remon Schoorl, a movement instructor at Team Sportservice Noordkop. Afterward, each participant received a certificate, a wonderful memento of a successful and inspiring day.

Are you a club or local sports provider in the region interested in contributing to the next G-niale Sports Day? Then contact Remon Schoorl at [email protected].
