Go out onto the mudflats at Balgzand and discover what lives.

On Wednesday, April 29, you will step into the mudflats together. Jerry from Landschap Noord-Holland will take you along. This way, you will experience the richness of the Wadden Sea up close.

Scan like a wading bird

Search for lugworms and shellfish, just like the wading birds. Look closely around you and discover what lives beneath your feet. Especially in the mudflats, something new always catches your eye. That makes this trip fun, active, and educational.

Perfect for curious children

This activity is fun for children aged 6 and up. Being outdoors together and searching for things on your own makes it extra appealing. You really see, feel, and experience the Wadden Sea. Do expect to get dirty, though.

Put on old clothes

The activity lasts from 12:00 to 13:30. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. For more information and to register, visit the Landschap Noord-Holland website. This way, you can be sure you are well prepared before heading out.
