The Jutterhavendagen kick off on the water again on Friday evening, July 24. At restaurant Stoom, you can watch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest on the big screen. With this, the Drive-in Cinema returns for the second time as the opening night.
Sail to a movie night on the water
Last year, visitors saw the first installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. This year, part two follows. The adventure film fits well with the nautical weekend. The film also aligns with Den Helder as a city on the water.
Start the evening with music
From 6:00 PM, the Music Boat sets sail. The act welcomes boats and visitors with music from the water. You will hear trumpet, mini-organ, and short classical arrangements. The painted boat is known from various TV programs.
Bring your own small boat
You are welcome with your own boat or a rented sloop. Rowboats, electric boats, and motorboats are permitted. Your boat may be a maximum of 6 meters long. The height may not exceed 1.5 meters. This ensures visitors have a clear view of the screen.
